Adaptricity co-founder Andreas Ulbig appointed professor at RWTH Aachen University

Andreas Ulbig has been appointed full professor at RWTH Aachen University as of 1 April 2021. He will hold the existing Chair of Active Energy Distribution Grids at IAEW (www.iaew.rwth-aachen.de). At the same time, he will take on a leading role at the newly founded Fraunhofer Center for Digital Energy in Aachen.

We are very pleased about this unique opportunity for Andreas, who has actively helped steer Adaptricity as co-founder and COO for more than seven years. This step to the renowned RWTH Aachen University allows him to bring his many years of experience in the topics of SmartGrid and digitalisation of grid operation and grid planning back into the academic context to a greater extent.

As a member of the board of directors of Adaptricity AG, Andreas will continue to be closely associated with our company and we look forward to being able to count on his knowledge and experience for the successful further development of Adaptricity in the future.
